Why the projects?

This blog is a tutorial blog featuring small, short DIY projects. These projects can be made from every day materials that is found nearly everywhere. So if you happen to have some extra time on your hands, don't waste it on nothing, grab some gear and make something.

Project #2 Hydrogen gun

This is a really awesome project that should NOT be tried indoors. Yes, it takes some time, but the results are epic, recommended if you a) like explosives, b)like shooting stuff, c)are really stressed out, d) all of the above . I myself fired at least 4 shots.

What you need:

HCl compound

beaker connected to a plastic tube


big bucket of H2O

any type of metal (preferably magnesium)

cork with hole

sparker with long handle

small plastic bottle

Step 1 pour 100ml of HCl into beaker

Step 2 drop some Mg into HCl, you should be able to see the H bubbles

Step 3 fill the plastic bottle w/ water, hold it upside down in the water bucket

step 4 fill bottle with H gas

Step 5 slide cork onto sparker

Step 6 insert Hydrogen filled bottle into sparker, the cork should stop air from escaping bottle

Step 7 fire in the hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Project #1 hand held LED candle




this is a really really simple DIY little thing if you happen to just be very very bored. Took me less than 3 min to finish, but the effect is really cool, and it is pretty fun, in some ways.

What you need:

9V battery

battery cap


LED bulbs *3


connectors*2


push button



Step1 connect all the LEDs together, + to -, the longer wire is +.

Step2 slide in connectors where the wires meet


Step3 connect the button to the battery cap

Step4 wire it up

Step5 dance
